MAE Student Named an MIT AeroAstro Distinguished Scholar

ME senior Catherine Nachtigal was selected as an MIT AeroAstro Distinguished Scholar. This program provides full support and stipend for awarded students to pursue their graduate studies at MIT's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics for up to five years along with a supplement for conference travel. Catherine recently completed her J. J. Slade Honors Thesis, titled "In-air Polymerization and Crosslinking of Monomers during Electrospray Deposition," in the lab of Prof. Jonathan P. Singer.
