Professor Yogesh Jaluria presented the inaugural seminar in the Dr. M. Necati Ozisik Distinguished Lecture Series at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, on April 14, 2023. Professor Ozisik was an outstanding researcher and educator in heat transfer and thermal sciences at NC State University. He is internationally renowned for his extensive contributions of books, publications and lectures. The title of Professor Jaluria’s lecture was “Solution of Inverse Problems in Thermal Systems: A Tribute to Professor Necati Ozisik.” The lecture was attended by the department faculty and students, as well as some friends and family of Professor Ozisik. It generated quite a bit of interest in the audience and led to many questions and discussions on inverse problems.
